Jim,

In setting up for a session I use the "re-block trains in staging" to reduce wear and tear on the yardmasters. I noted that these lists do not indicate which order the cars are in, i.e. loco to cab. How can I tell?

Also, I have several coal trains and coal empty trains that run during a session from staging to staging. Now, I have them set as connecting trains and have to unload and load the coal loads in the hoppers before each session.

As of now, I have these trains set that the power runs around the train; however, if I set the option that the train starts from this staging, or train continues as same train, will either of these options eliminate my need to swap loads from cars?

Many thanks.

there should be an option to reset to origin.

Just run them back to where they started when restaging

Jim,

>there should be an option to reset to origin.

Howard is talking about a waybill datafield.  The "CIT" datafield.

If the CIT waybill-number entered in the CIT datafield is the same as the waybill-number being edited, there are options for "empty-load" and "reset to origin".

If you select the "reset option" the intent with ProTrak is that you are moving the cars with a reset waybill back to their origin between sessions (or even during a session).

OK?
