For one topic, I am suggesting that we chat about "yard work".

Other suggestions for topics?

Jim,

A little more explanation with Redirect and Yard Switch List would be good to have.

Good idea.   I will update the ppt presented at the May/Landing Weekend.

Bob,

Good idea.   This one could go a lot of places.

Just so we all remember it was Howard who suggested this list in May 2011.   Howard pointed out that during the Daily Summary when the Car-Distributor ran, cars could be assigned car-orders, while sitting on class tracks in a yard.   And that it was likely that those cars would have to be re-classified.   i.e. the cars had been previously classified, then they were "loaded" and now they need to be re-classified.

The Yard Switch List is the list which is used to re-classify these cars.

~~~
Andy had some 80 cars to be re-classified, 24 at CED-Yd, the remainder at other yards.   This is yard work that should be done immediately after the "session-mode based" Daily Summary.
Lots of possible discussion.
