This applies to railroads with multiple Yd yards.   And it is along the lines of an issue that Fred was describing last year.   And the subject of the July 5th Update/discussion.

Suppose a car is sitting at yard B, on its way to west staging.  Yard B is in the middle of the railroad.  Yard A is to the east and Yard C is to the west.   The preferred routing is Yard B to Yard C and then to west staging.  

However because of the line-up, train reporting points and the time-of-day, the car is actually routed Yard B to Yard A, then back to Yard C and to west staging.  i.e. the one and only train that runs Yard B to Yard C has already run (and/or clocktime is after calltime).  

Note that the undesired routing has a reversal of car movement (at Yard A).   Update 355 adds a check for reversal of car travel direction and rejects this initial B->A->C routing, and ProTrak continues looking for other possible routings that do >not< involve a reversal of travel direction.

This check is entirely automatic - there is nothing you need to do to make this check happen.  However the check only happens if you have 3 or more Yd yards.   I put in "3" because the issue arises only if you have 3 yards (or more).
