Does anybody have some suggestions about capturing screenshots from ProTrak?   How to?

On posting Updates, with new datafields, it might be helpful if I could show, post here, a screenshot of the window, showing where the new datafield is.

Thanks,

                Jim

Howdy,

You can capture the current screen by pressing the PRTSC key, and a copy of the screen will be captured on the clipboard. You can then run "paint" and paste the captured screen into it. Save it as a file and upload it as you normally would. The PRTSC key often uses the FN button pressed at the same time. The key is often in the top right of your keyboard.

Hope this helps, Mike C

Jim,

I use a program called Gadwin PrintScreen (http://www.gadwin.com/download/) I use the freeware version and you may be able to also as it allows internal business use. I like it because it allows full screen, window and rectangular area captures. The output can be to the clipboard, file, email or printer.

Hope this helps,
