Hello,

A long time ago, Robin Becker and Jim Moir kicked around detection and signaling. Robin came up with a protocol from which Grapevine was developed.

Moving forward to today, Robin has continued in the direction of LCC and has a line of hardware he is developing, manufacturing, and selling.  His website is https://quadln.n3ix.com

The QuadLN_S LocoNet® Servo Decoder is the heart of the system and handles servo control, inputs, outputs and LocoNet® communications. Provides complete turnout control of up to 16 compact SG90 servos. Supports stall motors via optional Driver boards. Optional add-on boards for Detection and Signaling. Fully configurable using JMRI. Operates on a conventional LocoNet® with a command station or on a standalone LocoNet® that has no command station. Firmware updates performed using JMRI (Remote Align board required to initiate a firmware update).

NOTE: several signal boards linked together is possible.

I have known Robin as longer than I knew Jim Moir. I'm certain Robin's products are equal to or better than what is out there today both in function and in total value.  Do reach out to Robin if this interests you.

Best
Jim

Hi Jim, thank you for the info.  I've passed it along to Tim Childs who will be working with Grapevine on the Nashville Road. Best, Andy
