Thanks, Joe.  For some reason I was just thinking of Jim and how excited he was about working on his railroad in retirement, and his home that no longer has a layout.   In the past, I even visited it via Google Earth and how sad I was thinking of what used to be.  I know we all really miss Jim and his friendship. Best, Andy

Hello everyone,

As our 5th wheel trailer is stored in Baden, I have reason to travel through there once a week.

I am surprised at my sense of loss frankly; I miss Jim, and Natalie, terribly. The house has been converted to a 3-unit rental.

I think we all miss Jim. The whole deal just sucks.

Best
Jim

So true, Jim but we do have sweet memories of that house, Jim and Natalie, and that great railroad.  Just sad when you think what it could have been in Jim's retirement years. Best, Andy

I find it hard to believe it's been 2 years. I am glad I was able to to meet many back in 2012 at Andy's weekend (where has the time gone?).

I have not been in the train room much but keep my eyes on the posts here. I think it is great that Protrak is available and you are assisting new users.

I also hope Natalie is doing well.

Best to all,

John Valle
