Hi Guys,

Has anyone out there worked out how to redirect train printouts to get them onto a device like an iPad?  I like the idea of reducing the printer use of paper.  Any ideas?

Mark,

Download a program on your main PC called doPDF and then "Print" your files to the doPDF application.  When you install doPDF it will show up as an available printer option on your print screen. Your printouts will then be in the same folder (I believe) as the doPDF application.  Then use iTunes to download and synch your ProTrak printouts on your iPad.  Hope this helps

Mark,

I realized I responded a little to fast in my reply above.  doPDF is an application that "prints" your file in PDF format to a file on your computer.

Excellent news,  I want to get rid of paper printouts and I’m using an iPad to do control of turnouts already by the conductor.  Having switch lists go electronic make a lot of sense to me.
