Hi Jim,

Questions on 2 separate items.  (Bob and I are both working with the same Nashville Road data.)

1.  Bob and I were trying to make some changes to Gresham Yard by adding a second yard to add additional track.  When we opened the new yard window, the first 2 sections in the window are still grayed out and we cannot make changes to those fields.  This is during a session on my end but I think Bob is in between sessions.

Also, opening up other yard windows shows that the same 2 sections are grayed out in all of them and no changes can be made.  Is this because I am in a session?  If so, can you change it to be able to make changes at anytime?

2.  Bob advised me that when he checked the "Switching trains" at "Traffic / Customers & Loading Points," there were approximately 30 customer spots that had a problem.  I found the same thing in my data and corrected all 30 of them.

Before this, within the last session or so, we checked and found several problems and corrected them by opening each customer and clicked "OK."  All customer spots were then good.

Question:  Can you explain what may cause these problems to occur and can this be an ongoing thing?  If so, is there anyway for the program to automatically correct these problems, or a "One click fixes all" button at the bottom of the Customer & Loading Points window?

Another all day session this weekend.  We hope to end this daily session and prepare for the next on Jan 28th!!

A late Happy New Year to everyone. smile

Thanks, Andy

Best, Andy Keeney

What was the issue?

Which switching-trains were assigned to which customers?

Thanks, Jim.  I hadn't changed anything in my data and was just wondering why all of a sudden I had these many customer problems.   Best, Andy

Jim, the first 2 sections with type of yard and name, etc., cannot be entered or changed in any of the yard windows. They Re grayed out sections.  I can't do it in the middle of my session and Bob can't do it between sessions using my data. Thanks, Andy
