Joe,
>How do I print out a General Managers Report in ProTrak?
This detailed report is available only as part of the "Daily Summary".
As you know, on the opening page/window of the Daily Summary there is a pane for selecting the amount of detail you want printed. If you select "Complete update, ready for next operating session" the "printing options" dropdown appears. The first, and default, printing option is "no printing". The second option, which has the least amount of printing, is "Print the General Manager's Daily Summary".
~~~
Besides the General Manager's Daily Summary there is a graph available at any time which displays the history of the Operating Ratio and the closely related "number of cars unloaded".
OK?
Joe asked:
>Is the data that is used to build the GM's Daily Summary report only valid /present in ProTrak until the Daily Summary update processing starts which I'm presuming starts after one clicks "OK" on the Daily Summary and Update screen?
The data actually printed could (in theory) be captured at the time (of printing or possibly non-printing) to a disk file. Then the General Manager's Daily Summary could be re-printed via a button on the OR-graph page. In theory and with some work.
