Hi Jim and All,

We finished up our op session on the Nashville Road yesterday and all is going very well.  Thank goodness I have a ProTrak expert manning the computer so I can keep the hot coffee coming!!  I actually got to run a train or two and had a really good time!  The snacks keep getting better also! wink

After the session, Bob and I ran the Daily Summary.  I now have time before the 28th which is our next all day session, to reblock any trains in staging that need to be attended to.  The only ones that I worry about are the road trains that make setoffs and pickups enroute.  I do not reblock trains that have no intermediate stops enroute to their destination.  At their destination yard, their cutlists are printed in alpha numeric order which makes it much easier for the crews to locate the car in the list as they classify them.  My crews have not had a problem with this and it really helps that I usually have a regular crew that mans the same yard each session.

Things are really starting to jell and Bob and I are working closely together to tweak the data and make changes very sparingly.  It is really nice when the crews also start becoming old hands on the railroad and are feeling comfortable with the reports, etc.  They are also asking good questions which lets us know that they are "getting it!!"

Bob and I just wanted to thank you for all the work that you do supporting the Protrak Community!!

Best, Andy

Best, Andy Keeney

Look out for #1 but don't step in #2!!

We did have a good time. Crews are reading and understanding the paperwork and a lot of smiles at the end of the session.

Working with Andy and his railroad is good for both of us.

Thanks again Jim for the support and the program.

Bob
