Jim,

I am in the middle of a session; every switchlist I print has ***Plain Bearing*** beneath each car in the consist. Some also have ***Dangerous Empty Plain Bearing***

How do I turn this off or eliminate it from printing?

Also, on one of the Work Orders I printed listed a total of 24 cars for that train; these are cars that were in Shenandoah Yard to be picked up by a road freight, which would then continue to its staging track. After car 13 on the Work Order there was a dashed line with *** Maximum Train Length ***

Based on this notation I told the yardmaster to only have those 13 cars ready for pick-up by the through train; however, when the train arrived and I reported it, printed the cutlist and new switchlist, the 11 cars listed below the Maximum Train Length warning were supposed to be in the train.

So, what are we suppose to use this warning for?

Last, I have a number of road trains that work at Shenandoah Yard to make set outs and pick ups; how can I allow the pick-ups to be added to the train AND print the new switch list for it to continue on its way WITHOUT clearing its status as classifying? I really don't want these road trains sitting in the yard until whenever the yard crew gets around to classifying the cars on that particular train's cutlist.

I thought we discussed this at Andy's last year and that you made changes to the program but I just can't recall or figure out what to do about this.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming ProTrak weekend.

Best wishes.

OK, I found how to remove the ***Plain Bearing**** message and now all is good with my switchlists.  See, even old dogs can learn new tricks!

That is what I would have, that is, separate the group of 13 cars from the others.  You know those are going.

As you found, what happens to the other cars depends on what happens in the yard.
