As I mentioned in my prior posting I've just started multi-day paper sessions. Monday and Tuesday went fine. Wednesday came up and indeed Wed was listed as the "Today's date is" in the yellow "Loading RR data" window. When I clicked on Train Movements the train lineup that came up was the Tues/Thur/Sat lineup and not the Mon/Wed/Fri lineup. In some recent e-mails between us you mentioned that you both had dropped back to Ver 343 because you were seeing issues with train line ups. Is what I described above similar / identical that you both apparently saw on your layouts? If not any ideas as to what I should look at?
thanks again
Joe

Hi Bob and Joe,
What issues are you having with #348 that you ended up going back to #343?
I’m currently getting things into shape for an op session (or six), but I am using #348
Thanks
John
I recently had an open house as part of a local tour (35 layouts), so had cleaned up and whipped the layout into shape. So I have some good photos and will post some of them on this forum.

John,
With 348, Andy and my program would change the name of a train.
Would not be the same train and program would change it to a deleted train we deleted a year ago or a current one.
With Andy's list of trains a day it was a nightmare figuring out what train was changed.
With my list was not a big a problem, I have 12 trains a day.

Reply to Bob,
Yes I noticed that in #352 where it seemed to be very prevalent. The name was different, but when I ran the train, it actually did the work and route of the original train, it seemed to be that only the name at the top was different.
The only thing I've noticed so far in #348 is that the name of the ferry has been changed. It is the last one to be added to my list of trains, so I figured what the hell, I can perhaps live with that. But I haven't tried to run it either at this stage of preparation because if I try to see the list of cars that are going on the ferry, it doesn't show up on the screen, but it leaves port and sails empty, so that doesn't make me too happy.
I think I'll probably change to #343 now that I think about it.
Thanks for the info
John

Well, I think I've made a little progress. I started over at session 1 with my new mlti-day lineuo and this time when I went into operations on Wed I got the "New Train Lineup Needed" window and this time I did not do what was suggested in the window wrt going out of operations and re-establishing a train lineup etc. Instead I clicked on Yes to continue, then No on the next window and then Ok on the next window and when I clicked on the Train Movements for Wed the correct train lineuo was there. Everything went well until I finished the Saturday session and did the daily summary. In my new multi-day operations I took 7 of my 13 trains that originally ran only on Monday and ran them on M/W/F and the other 6 on T/T/S. So I expected things to roll over to Monday after my Saturday session; however Sunday came up with the T/T/S train lineup. UGH!!!
Question: When others have gone from Monday only to multi-day operations did you split the original Moday-only trains up or did you keep ALL of your trains running each of the other days in the week?
Jim B, Bob B your suggr]estion on my SHELL tanker worked, but now I think it is bouncing back and forth between staging and my main yard.
thanks Joe
