I am using Andy's railroad and was going to add a GSM2YD. The yard type and the Zones have a gray box around them and we can not change the information in them. We are using 341 Dec 5. 2016.

When we added the yard we could pick up to 99 tracks, I restarted the program and now only 15 tracks are allowed.

The window is short side to side, can only see part of the first blocking section.

Thanks

Bob B

Hi All,

Regarding Bob's info, I just wanted to add that Bob just ended a session and had run the Daily Summary.  He had not started the next session when he tried to add the additional yard.

I am in the middle of a session and I tried to add a new yard to get the additional track that I am missing at Gresham.  That is when I found the type of yard with its radio buttons and the Zone/Station data selection box were all frozen and the boxes were colored a dark gray.  The rest of the selections for the yard are able to be changed and the OK button is not grayed out.

For a test, I selected 1 track and one track showed in the right half of the yard window.  I then selected 3 blocks and it correctly showed 3 blocks available for track #1.  I selected OK which closed the window.  I then reopened the New Yard and as Bob stated, only 1 block showed in the right window with a very small portion of the second block visible.

We have our next op session on Jan 7th.  Another all day affair!!  Bob and I hope to get it completed and have a little time to play with the data before we end the day.

Still massaging the data but everything is slowly coming together nicely.  Next bit of excitement will be the addition of passenger service which will include a timetable and then the boys will have to stay on their toes!!  Right, John M!!Wink

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!!

Best, Andy

Look out for #1 but don't step in #2!!

Andy, Bob,

Noted and thanks.

Either the previous Update (12th), or the next Update re-corrects these issues.

Concurrent with understanding StJ yard issues I have been messing with the "yard information" inputs.  I too have seen, and corrected, those screen issues.
