When the Daily Summary car distributor runs:

1.  Loading a car-order for an online customer:

These routines include a "preference" section where assigned cars are preferred for loading.  Cars may be assigned on the basis of customer name and/or commodity.   This preference section runs after all suitable cars have been found - and before the car selection based on the car service rules is applied.

There is a separate "customer" preference sub-section.  (say - all LO labelled for 'Bay State Milling')

There a commodity preference sub-section.  In the "commodity" sub-section (say 'flour') I have added a (further restricting) sub-sub section for customer (say - only LO labelled for 'Bay State Milling' restricted to carrying flour).

2.  "Grains", as restricted load, have been generalized to three digits of the STCC "011".  That is - a car restricted to a load described by a STCC of 0111, 0112, 0113, 0114, etc. is acceptable.  i.e. a car restricted to corn, or restricted to soybeans, or restricted to "grains" etc will be loaded with any of the above.
