Just a heads-up that the next Update will be coming along fairly soon.

1.  I have re-written the "Call Board".   Much easier to use.  Also the new Call Board works with multiple computers, so you could have a computer dedicated to the Call Board (or at least on a computer away from the congestion around the "main" computer).

An advantage of the ProTrak Call Board is that the data (Conductor's name) is automatically updates the Conductor name to be printed on the Train-Consist.

2.  The next Update also implements the new function (an option) to prevent homeroad cars from loaded in (non-homeroad) staging  We talked briefly about this at the Weekend.  And it takes into account Howard's comment about homeroad cars going to a homeroad subdivision.

1.  I have re-written the "Call Board".   Much easier to use.  Also the new Call Board works with multiple computers, so you could have a computer dedicated to the Call Board (or at least on a computer away from the congestion around the "main" computer).

An advantage of the ProTrak Call Board is that the data (Conductor's name) automatically updates the Conductor name to be printed on the Train-Consist.

2.  The next Update also implements the new function (an option) to prevent homeroad cars from loaded in (non-homeroad) staging  We talked briefly about this at the Weekend.  And it takes into account Howard's comment about homeroad cars going to a homeroad subdivision.

This option is turned off/on on the Program Options page.  A new pane (4th one down) on the right hand side.  Un-checking the option prevents homeroad cars being routed offline for loading offline.

This new option needs you to open the list of staging tracks.  The list now shows the reporting marks of the railroad to which a staging track leads.   Opening the list causes the "reporting mark" data to be entered.  You should scan down the list to make sure the reporting marks are shown.  If a reporting mark is missing, for a staging track, you may wish to go to the staging track edit window and re-enter the railroad name.

Homeroad cars will still be routed to homeroad staging tracks.

3. You may also wish to checkout the new "Verify" button on the train-consist preview window.  This button verifies the "NxtLoc" (next location or next setoff yard) for trains originating online.   That's the intent 😉

OK?
