As John M. noted, trains leaving a staging-track which was an intermediate reporting point could be re-blocked by ProTrak.  This is not always desirable.   An option has been added to prevent re-blocking.

To explain how:

   - open a staging track ("edit staging") which is used as an intermediate reporting point

   - in the second pane down, last line, note the radio-button option "on-line mid-point".  Click this.

This option has been extended so that during Operations, when the train is reported at this staging-track the train is no longer re-blocked.

Please let me know how this works out for you.

Thanks,

               Jim

Thanks Jim,

I'll give it a try.  I'm at the cottage now, so it will have to be a paper (less) session.

Jim,

This seems like a great feature.  As I understand it we can now have local trains turn in staging with this new addition.  Many thanks.

Thanks Jim,

This will allow us to run the South Local all the way to Columbia staging and return and best, we can use a steam engine rather than a diesel which was necessary when the turn was at Spring Hill!

Best, Andy

Look out for #1 but don't step in #2!!
